FAQ's

How fast can I expect to see results?

Most clients see and feel noticable changes within the first 2-3 weeks
. Several studies*, based on 8-16 week protocols, show significant improvement in muscular endurance, function, reduction in low back pain and overall strength at 8-10 weeks. Improvements in cardiovascular capacity, stamina, reduced cholesterol, body composition and body fat % were measured at 10-12 weeks.

How important is my diet?
Proper nutrition is vital to weight loss, improving health and longevity, strength, stamina, and sleep. Many medical and fitness professionals agree that nutrition determines at least 70% of our success. Our approach leads with sound nutrition and developing life long habits of health.

What's your training style?
Every client has unique needs, challenges, genetics and abilities. Too many trainers rely on "canned" routines and exercises...a "one size fits all" approach. I tailor each program to the individual, striving for the best possible outcome in an aggressive, but reasonable time frame. I monitor and adjust programs for optimum results. I combine fun, functional movements with strength, flexibility and interval training activities. This approach strengthens, tones, shapes and conditions the body faster and more effectively than anything on the planet!

How frequently should I train with you?
It depends on your specific goals, commitment to change and budget. For weight loss, general conditioning and strengthening, training 2-3 times per week (with us) is optimal, at least for the first few weeks. It's critical to learn correct technique and to consistently challenge your body. You should build a strong foundation over the first 60-90 days, to expect continued success on your own. Improving your nutrition and fitness helps add years and energy to your life. What's more important than that?

How can a Personal Trainer help me?

Bottom Line: THEY GET RESULTS!

"There are several reasons (someone should start a fitness program with a personal trainer). The first and perhaps most important is that personal trainers can provide the necessary and proper instruction for a novice trainee. They can assist them with basic program design. They can monitor that they're exercising at an appropriate intensity level. They can also provide instruction regarding proper exercise technique and form. A trainer can provide motivation and improve the individual's long-term commitment and adherence to an exercise program. They can also monitor and assess your progress and further refine the exercise program."
